"Jerusalem: An Occupation Set in Stone" is a 1995 documentary produced by the Palestine Housing Rights Movement and directed by Marty Rosenbluth. The film outlines the deteriorating housing situation for Palestinians in Jerusalem. It explores the legal, political, and social implications of Israeli urban planning policies in the Holy City. In doing so, it exposes Israeli policies aimed at eliminating Palestinian presence from Jerusalem by taking the viewers inside the lives of Palestinian families who are suffering as a direct result of Israel's discriminatory policies.
This one-hour documentary is ideal to show to students, teachers, community leaders, Arab-American activists, and the public at large as it will help educate them about the situation on the ground. You are invited to organize a film showing in your town or your college campus. If interested, please let us know by sending an email to gkhouri@adc.org
We can help you plan the film showing, as well as advertise it in your local media and community. Marty Rosenbluth will be happy to travel to your town to present the film and lead a discussion afterwards. We can also help you find ways to cover his travel expenses by seeking co-sponsors.
Don't miss this opportunity to educate and inform others about the continuing Palestinian struggle against Israel's racist policies! | ||||||
