Robert Fisk: Europe Must Stop Parroting the American Script in the Middle East 2/21/2002'
'After Israel has vandalised 11m euros of property supplied by Europe, why shouldn't we play a role?'
Is the price worth it?
For those who find it hard to believe, following is the excerpt of an interview between Leslie Stahl of CBS and Madeline Albright when she was US Secretary of State. The segment was called PUNISHING Saddam and Stahl was asking if the
death of 500,000 children was worth it to punish this one man.
Leslie Stahl, speaking of US sanctions against Iraq:
"We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And -- and you know, is the price worth it?"
Madeline Albright: "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price -- we think the price is worth it."

The Lies and Thefts Just Never End
They came for our land, for what grew
or could be grown on it, for the resources in it,
and for our clean air and pure water.
They stole these things from us, and in the taking
they also stole our free ways
and the best of our leaders, killed
in battle or assassinated. And now, after all that,
they've come for the very last of our possessions;
now they want our pride, our history,
our spiritual traditions.
They want to rewrite and remake these things,
to claim them for themselves.
The lies and thefts just never end.
