Prior to September 11, Mr Bush refused to invite Chairman Arafat to Washington
or to meet with him during the UN general assembly. Now, we found out the
reason. It is the shipment of arms which ‘we have intercepted’ some one year
later. Chairman Arafat, surrounded by a group of mostly revolutionary
profiteers, thought that the US may change course and become even handed. In
his usual zigzag tactics he arrests Palestinian combatants and hinders the
resistance to Israeli Nazi occupation. Arafat always believed that he may reach
his goals by peaceful means. But what a disappointment! The US needs Israel in
its war against Muslims and must embrace Sharon, castigates Arafat and
disregards Arab-Muslim feelings. The US knows that no matter how much $$$ they
pay to President Mubarak, or to King Abdullah II, the Arab people are united
against US foreign policy of supporting Israeli atrocities. But there is one
snag. All those national leaders who were castigated by America in the past won
their struggle (Castro, Ho Chi Minh, Mandela and Mao Tse Tong). There are signs
that the US latest action is making a national hero out of Chairman Arafat.
The Jews will win the day but lose tomorrow.
