In 1973, Vice President Spiro T. Agnew was accused of receiving kickbacks from
a construction company and was forced to resign. His boss at the time was no
other than President Nixon who was impeached shortly afterward. On the other
hand, Dick Cheney’s wheeling and dealing has netted him $$ millions from
Haliburton and Brown and Roots, both from Houston. Dick Cheney knows that
transparency concerning ENRON collapse will implicate his boss and refuses to
budge on handing in minutes of his secret discussions with the energy companies
whom he and Bush have personal vested interests. The question is to whom Cheney
work for or whom does he represent? To me, American 'democratic'government is
made up of the corrupt, by the crooks and for the services of power centres.
It is time to have transparecy (glassnoct) in government and to see how much
the legislators are cashing from big business and from the Sicilian and the
Jewish mafias.
