When Golda Meir started to back peddle on the withdrawal from Egyptian occupied
territories, Dr Kissinger had to remind her that Israel was defeated in 1973.
It was the US who saved it. I feel that the Israelis need to be defeated to
accept abiding by international law. In the short-term with US support, Israel
will remain a rogue state. But in the long-run, the US may change course and
show Shlomos the way to Siberia.
